Shop and sellers

A full online shop that sits beside your auctions and draws, with other sellers if you want them. Coupons, gift cards, flash sales, cart reminders, wholesale rules, bundles, invoices and zone shipping are all included.

Add a product

  1. Make a category

    Shop Categories.

  2. Create the product

Open Shop Products and choose New product. Create the item or pick one from your item library, then set the sale price, shipping fee and stock.

  3. Add variants if you need them

Turn on variants if it comes in sizes or colours.

The item library (Orders & Customers Item library) keeps each thing you sell or give away once: name, description, retail price, photos, and whether it's physical or digital. The forms for products, auctions and prizes can pick from it, or create a new item inline.

Customer reviews are approved or rejected under Shop Reviews, and each product's star rating updates by itself.

Process orders

Shop orders and claimed prizes arrive together under Orders & Customers Orders. To process lists what has been paid and needs sending.

  1. Pack and add tracking

Open the order and add the carrier and tracking number.

  2. Mark it Shipped

    Then Delivered when it arrives.

Only an order that hasn't shipped can be rejected. Cancelling or rejecting needs a reason, which the buyer sees, and puts the stock back.

Refunds

An order paid from the wallet goes straight back to the wallet. One paid by card or a manual payment goes under Refund owed, unless Settings Rewards refunds it to the wallet automatically. To refund, open the order and press Refund…, choose all or part, and choose where it goes: the buyer's wallet, or "I refunded it through the provider" with the provider's reference. The store can't send money back to a card itself. A refund can't be undone.

Sellers (multivendor)

The Multivendor plugin turns your store into a marketplace: customers apply to sell, list their own products and auctions next to yours, and you pay them their share.

Set it up

Open the Multivendor settings on the Plugins page:

  • Seller sign-up: whether anyone can apply to sell.
  • Listing approval: hold a seller's new auctions or shop products until you approve them.
  • Payout hold: how many days after delivery a sale becomes payable.

Manage sellers

Multivendor Sellers shows each seller's store, commission rate, what's ready to pay, what's still on hold and anything they owe back. You can edit the store and commission, or stop them selling. A stopped seller's auctions with bids run to their close, and they can still ship the paid orders they have.

Pay sellers

  1. Send the money

Pay the seller outside the site, the way you usually do.

  2. Record it

In Multivendor Seller Payouts, record the payment with its reference and pick exactly which delivered sales it covers.

Nothing is paid automatically. A sale becomes payable only once the order is delivered and the hold period has passed. If an order is cancelled after you paid the seller, the amount is recorded as owed back and comes off their next payout. Multivendor Seller ledger lists every sale, payout and correction.

Automatic payouts

To pay sellers through Stripe Connect or PayPal Payouts, add the Automated Seller Payouts add-on, sold separately.
